Skin Type: Combination Skin

Combination Skin

Having combination skin means having a mixture of oily and dry skin at the same time. Your face can be  oily in some area and dry in other areas. The t-zone (forehead, nose and chin) naturally gets oilier than the rest. Do you use two different routines to combat multiple problems on your skin? Afraid not, let’s get down to the middle-ground.

What you really need to do is to use a well balanced skincare routine to keep your skin condition in favourable conditions. From cleansing to applying sunscreen you need to ensure that each step does not imbalance your skin from its optimal conditions.

Causes of combination skin: genetics, environment, hormones and stress, skin treatments and products that are not suitable for your skin, aging.

  • Clean your face twice a day with a gentle cleanser that leaves your skin still hydrated. (morning and night)
  • Use a gentle and physical scrub/exfoliator so you can control the strength of your scrub for skin in different areas.
  • Apply a toner to keep a balanced PH skin
  • Apply moisturizer before you end the routine
